If you’re wondering what your TMNT toys might be worth, the best resources that I know of are the magazines Lee’s Action Figure News & Toy Review and Tomart’s Action Figure Digest.  Recently, Diamond Select Toys announced that they will be producing their representations of the movie characters as a set of The Spirit Minimates. 

With the aggressive marketing of violent game and toys on TV and in the book, it is difficult for parents to discovery games that don't glorify violence -- games that, instead, support children use their innovation and creativity. 

The toy industry itself, in a publication called Toys and Play published by the Toy Industry of America, states that play is “the way children learn about themselves, their environment, and the people around them.  What roles and rules do violent toys and video games teach.
